Welcome to our first blog post! Thank you for taking the time to view our blog and website.
I am sure your first question about Camp Nisswa is, what is it? Well, I am sure you realize it isn’t a “real” camp by now. Four friends, “Camp Counselors,” have been throwing this idea around for a few years, and we are finally making it a reality. We have spent many years in Nisswa; every year, we discover more & more events, restaurants, bars, & businesses to check out. We started finding these events via Google, Facebook, & local flyers. So, we are problem solvers, and we said it would be great to have a website that wrangles all these events & activities into one place. This was when we came up with the idea of Camp Nisswa. Slowly our vision started to become a brand. We went back and forth on what we wanted Camp Nisswa to be, and we kept landing on the idea that Camp Nisswa is an emotion, a feeling, and something to be a "part of". Nisswa and the Brainerd Lakes area has so much to offer, and we want to expose the awesomeness!
So, what can you expect from Camp Nisswa and our blog?
We plan to be a source of information for all local events and businesses.
We will help visitors and residents plan their day or their week.
We will include activity options for all interests and ages.
