The Full Story

I am sure your first question about Camp Nisswa is, what is it? Well, I am sure you realize it isn’t a “real” camp by now. So here is the story:

Camp Nisswa was born out of our love for the Nisswa and Brainerd Lakes Area. As four friends who have spent many years exploring the region, we have always been amazed by the abundance of events, businesses, and activities in the area. However, we noticed that these were scattered across different platforms & channels, and it was challenging to keep track of everything. Hence our tagline: “Everything Nisswa”

 

One day, we came up with the idea of creating a website that would bring everything together in one place. We wanted to make it easier for visitors and residents to plan their day or week by providing a comprehensive list of all the events and activities happening in the region.

 

As we started developing the concept, we realized that Camp Nisswa was much more than just a website. It was an opportunity to share our love for the area with others and to create a community of like-minded individuals who share our passion. We wanted to create a brand that was not just about events and activities but also about the emotions and feelings that come with experiencing everything that Nisswa and the Brainerd Lakes Area have to offer.

 

Today, Camp Nisswa is a reality, and we are excited to share our vision with the world. We hope that our website and blog will inspire others to explore the area, support local businesses, and fall in love with Nisswa and the Brainerd Lakes Area, just as we have.
