A Wild Adventure at Safari North Wildlife Park

If you haven’t visited Safari North Wildlife Park yet, it's time to add it to your summer plans. We spent a day there last summer and it was an absolute highlight — and with opening day for the 2025 season coming up on May 10th, it’s the perfect time to plan your visit!


Safari North is a true gem in the Nisswa Lakes Area, offering up-close animal encounters, rides, and hands-on fun for all ages.


A Look Back at Our Safari North Adventure


Last summer, the Camp Nisswa crew headed out for a day full of exploring, feeding, and adventuring — and it didn’t disappoint!

  • We wandered through the exhibits, getting face-to-face with everything from bears to giraffes.

  • The Parakeet House was a huge hit — the kids loved feeding the birds right from their hands.

  • The petting zoo gave everyone a chance to get up close with some furry friends.

  • And of course, the amusement rides were a perfect way to end the day with lots of smiles and laughter.


It’s one of those places where you can slow down, let the kids run around, and just enjoy a classic Minnesota summer day.


2025 Season Information


Opening Day: May 10, 2025

Season Dates: May 10 – October 4, 2025

Hours: Open daily from 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (last ticket sold at 4:30 PM)

Parking: Free

Ticket Prices:

  • Adults (13+): $19.99 + tax

  • Children (2–12 years): $15.99 + tax

  • Children under 2: Free(Season Passes are also available if you plan on visiting more than once!)

🎟 Tickets can be purchased online or right at the gate.




Make sure to mark your calendars for these special weekends:

  • Baby Animal Weekend | June 14–15

    • A full weekend dedicated to meeting the park’s tiniest (and cutest) residents.

  • Kids Weekend | July 19–20

    • Magic shows, face painting, scavenger hunts, music, and more — all about the kids!

  • Junior Zookeeper Day and Enrichment Workshop

    • Dress up like a zookeeper, make enrichment projects for the animals, and get a special gift from the gift shop.


All special events are included with regular admission!
