Looking for a kid-friendly activity in Nisswa that’s fun for all ages? You’ll want to add Nisswa Falls Mini Golf to your list. Conveniently located just off the roundabout in Nisswa, this 18-hole course is more than just a place to play—it’s an experience built for families, date nights, vacationers, and mini golf fans of all ages.

Since opening in the summer of 2022, Nisswa Falls Mini Golf has quickly become one of the most talked-about attractions in the Nisswa Lakes Area. Whether you’re a local, staying at the cabin, or visiting town for the weekend, this mini golf course near downtown Nisswa is the perfect stop to laugh, compete, and create core memories with your crew.

From creative course design to quirky black bear characters and waterfalls, this spot isn’t just fun—it’s full-blown mini golf magic. Our crew took a trip over, and now we get the hype. This isn’t just a quick round of mini golf. It’s a full-on Up North adventure—one that keeps everyone smiling from the first putt to the last.

What’s the Vibe?

Right away, you're greeted with small-town friendliness—like walking into a neighbor’s backyard that just happens to have an 18-hole mini golf course in it. The staff? Super welcoming. The vibe? Total up-north charm.

But the real magic kicks in once you hit the first hole. You’re not just putting around—you’re stepping into a world where black bears run the town. Seriously.

There’s a story that unfolds as you go, with each hole introducing you to a new bear with a job to do: Lou’s hauling honey, Kay’s chilling by the pond, Abe’s got something going on near the cabins—and somehow, they’re all part of this quirky little bear village that’s way more fun than it should be.

What We Loved (Besides Everything)

  • The details: Waterfalls, handcrafted bear cabins, and little touches that make you pause your game just to take it all in.

  • Shaded rest spots: Crucial for summer heat or when your friend takes way too long lining up a putt.

  • Benches: Because mini golf trash talk hits harder when you’re comfortably seated with snacks.

  • Meg’s Mercantile: The on-site gift shop that’s perfect for grabbing a keepsake—or bribing the kids to behave for 18 holes.
