Nearly 200 cars, trucks and motorcycles rolled into Downtown Nisswa for the 8th Annual Cruisin’ Night at A&W Nisswa, filling the streets and parking lots with chrome, horsepower and plenty of summer nostalgia.
It was a hot one, but that did not stop thousands of people from coming out to walk the show, listen to live music from the Hebert Jazz Collective and enjoy one of Nisswa’s favorite summer traditions.
What started eight years ago as a shared love of cars has grown into something truly special. There are no judges, contests or trophies. It is simply a night built around great vehicles, great people and a love for the community.
More Than a Car Show
A&W Nisswa once again used the event as an opportunity to give back. The Nisswa Fire Department served brats and hot dogs during the show, raising $845 for lifesaving equipment.
Events like this take an incredible amount of planning, teamwork and community support. Local businesses and organizations provided parking areas, safety equipment, food, barricades, traffic support and countless hours of help behind the scenes.
From the A&W staff and volunteer parking crew to the City of Nisswa, Nisswa Police Department, Public Works, Nisswa Fire Department, Nisswa Chamber, local businesses, sponsors and property owners, so many people helped make the night possible.
We Are Lucky to Have A&W Nisswa
A&W Nisswa is so much more than a place to grab a root beer float or a burger.
They continually create reasons for people to gather, support local organizations and make memories in Downtown Nisswa. Their team pours an incredible amount of heart into this event, and it shows in every detail.
We are incredibly lucky to have A&W Nisswa in our town. Their love for this community is genuine, and the impact they make reaches far beyond their restaurant.
